Is There a Cost to the Party From a Brute for Censorship?
There are a number of different reasons why social media is censored in China. The regime can't just stop social media from existing, there are other threats that exist on a large number of fronts which the regime has to tiptoe around. As china moves to its next stage of development, it needs to cultivate creativity and dominate new sectors like tech and social media. It needs to take a balanced approach to how they deal with people who are in those spaces. And so i think we've across a broad range of issues. You can see the c c p being adaptive in that way. And and not just using a the hammer.
