The color green doesn't necessarily have any particularly strong positive associations for most people. It feels like its to be a code word for something that it doesn't actually communicate very well. More is superior on a number of different levels. One, it is an exhortation. It is also a very simp non specific way to ask your partner for something. And we'll talk about that in just a second.
