The U.S., U.K., Australian, and Indian governments all started investigating TikTok. Senator Marco Rubio asked for a formal investigation into TikTok from a government committee called Siphias. They said TikTok had such a big base of American users that it warranted review. It also got Senator Rubio into some trouble at home with his teenage sons.
