I've gotten the sense that a lot of folks, as they describe what they do and how they do it, aret often thinking longer term. Their careers often trend toward the happens to them, rather than a thing that winds up being actively managed. One of my favourite interview questions whenever i'm looking to bring some one in is always, you ignore this job we're talking about. Thay're not relevant right now. What's your next job? What's the one after that. What is the trajectory here? And it's always fun to me to see people's responses to it. Often it's, i have no idea, versus the, oh, i want to do this
