The US now sits at $32 trillion worth of national debt. The government's appetite for taking on and using an enormous amount of debt has been really excessive, especially in the last couple of years. Pakistan actually their entire government revenue goes towards their debt service payments. It was interesting looking at their situation because some of these countries are in much worse situations.
