The Galatians Are Having a Post-Worship Amnesia

The Galatians are having a worship, a post worship amnesia, if you will. They have truly encountered the goodness of Jesus justified by faith in Jesus who redeems us from our sin on the cross after he resurrected from the dead. But they've forgotten because there are people who have taught them that they need to be placing other things on top of their faith. And so here Paul writes this faith song to remind them to recall to memory the thing that he knows they once knew.
