Is the Economy in a Recession?

In the second quarter, when that report comes out, we're going to see if people have had to start to make really hard choices and start to become delinquent in a new way. We are in one of these economic conditions where it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy, absolutesy. Sure enough, if everyone is a little more careful than they used to be, then we end up in a place where we don't want to end up. It's strange to me how you can describe the same economy in so complete opposite terms.
