He co-founded genetic-testing firm Counsyl and led cryptocurrency company Earn.com before becoming first CTO of Coinbase and a General Partner at Andreessen Horowitz. He holds a BS, MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University.
