I Love You but I Don't Know That Because I'm Your Parents

I'm trying to think if it's like a Korean thing but I feel like when I look at my parents in like a more cultural context my dad is definitely not like a traditional Korean man. He majored in sociology he's very liberal which I feel like a lot of Korean men at his age aren't really like that. Yeah also I guess like I don't know if this adds any context at all but me and Monica are Chinese and G-Sue's Korean.
