Are You a Student Scientist?
I don't have a disciplined way of having, you know, a sort of regular 30 minute meetings with each of my people. If i could fall up on that. What is a typical meeting by a gradu student look like? With you? Sometimes it's more than three hours of crawling through the data and just brain storming, throwing ideas back and forth. And do you have a particular way to handle when they're frustrated, perhaps the project's not going their way? Think, psychologies sometimes, and we're all amateurs, right? Look, the thing is that i'm actually really optimistic about science.
