He says the arrest of far-right figures in Germany was 'a good sign for German democracy' But he adds that beneath this there was something less absurd afoot. It involved a substantial group of people with links to the military, some of them military veterans,. several figures who had been MPs for the after this far-right nationalist party were all arrested and questioned.
