The Logos and the Logo Centrism

The term logos has been used as a philosophical concept, at least as far back as Heraclitus. The idea of the logos then gets picked up by largely by Plato. It also is a significant part of the neoplatonic tradition that develops after him. And so this logocentrism, in some ways,This is definitive of the West as a whole. If you reject the logocentric nature of culture, then you're really rejecting the entirety of Western culture.
