The Importance of Consent in Psychiatry
In order to enter and eventually commandeer the body, consent is necessary. The demon obtains that consent by leveraging its knowledge of the victim's character traits or special interests. Once the entry point is secured, withdrawal of consent becomes much more difficult. In time, Lena discovered she no longer needed the anger to trigger that experience but could cause it directly just by willing.
