The Benefits of Leveraged Buyouts

The buyout of an asset is leveraged because it involves borrowing. We would like to borrow from you $60 million, the other part of the purchase consideration and then we will pay interest,. obviously, on that loan that's being taken out to help fund the purchase. And so that's very, very much a part of what asset managers do in the alternative asset management space principally. It will be partly equity from the end investors and partly debt. The main reason they do that is to enhance returns.
