What Do You Think People Think About Plastic?

In your work, you're one of the few authors who often does call attention to plastic and pollamers. I love that you'll always have polamers showing up in a scene. Is this just generally like a fascination with materials and what things are made from? Or is it, do you feel like plastic con stands out for you? It's something that, i don't know if itif it could even be dealt with. Really, is a science fiction novel.
