The Hope of Isaiah 48
Isaiah 48 is a hopeful chapter. It declares that all things are done for the glory of God and he is working for our benefit to bring salvation. Verse 3 says, I declared the past events long ago, they came out of my mouth. I proclaimed them. Suddenly I acted and they occurred. As Isaiah has done several times already, he shifts from judgment to hope.
