Do Reading and Listening Help Your Vocab?

Reading seems to be much easier to absorb its deep meaning. Listeningis more difficult because of the time, the speed. Is there any selected list as your best podcasts? I don't have a best podcast list. So would just choose the titles that look interesting to you. When you listen to one that's you like, really like it then that one, repeat, repeat,repeat.
