The Japanese Invasion of India
Mwudgukchi's plan was never endorsed by the Japanese High Command. But actually, I think there's a very significant chance that it would have succeeded at least of seriously discombobulating the British. And my view is that if Mwudgucchi had managed to fall into the Brahma-Putra Valley and captured in the war, it would have been very, very difficult for there to have ever been a reconquest of Burma in 1945.
