Writing a Book, You Should Be Thinking About It
For a guy like myself who's coming up with a first time, commercially published book, the advance was decent. The other thing i know is that a lot of publishers are offering to give in advance, but they also want the authors to commit to buying a certain number of books. I've probably sent out a hundred and 60 copies, you know, again, on my own dime. But i'm never going to shy away from giving a book to somebody if they can't read it, their prospective clients, or they want to read it, or i think they could use it.
