Psycho by Joseph Stefano
Joseph Stefano, who wrote one of the two best Alfred Hitchcock's which is psycho. He was responsible for two exposition scenes in psycho that should not work. They were very self away like they were writers who are using the words as you know their characters use language to deflect emotion. I think that's an interesting thing to draw inspiration from both of those ends of the spectrum.
