The Hardest Place
I just finished a book called The Hardest Place, which is an examination of the US military's campaigns in Afghanistan. I'm Canadian for the record, but I am very familiar with sort of, you know, US foreign policy. And I found it to be fascinating sort of look at this organization just continually doing the wrong thing and expecting different results. You know, ultimately we know what happened, like essentially nothing.
