Is There a Good or Bad Shame?

Social media platforms create the perfect sort of system so that we shame each other, and thereby profit them by staying on social media fighting with each other. I distinguish between what i call punch down shame and punching up shame. In social media, almost always, not always, but almost alwaysot sort of conditions us to punch down.
