Most of our customers are running tonic at least once a week, and they are triggering those jobs programmatically. A lot of companies will actually check their tonic config file into that repository. They know when it's been done because your tonic configuration has been checked. Another fun one would be yelling "de-identify" as you add new data to the database.

Summary
The most interesting and challenging bugs always happen in production, but recreating them is a constant challenge due to differences in the data that you are working with. Building your own scripts to replicate data from production is time consuming and error-prone.
