The Future Demand for Certified Gas
Utilities and LNG exporters could be big sources of potential demand for certified gas. In areas where RNG has typically been the low carbon gas of choice to replace fossil gas we may start to see certified gas used in these spaces as it's much more affordable at the moment. The IRS will depend on how hydrogen producers can verify their life cycle missions in order to qualify for the 45V clean hydrogen tax credit that was included in inflation reduction act.
