The Benefits of Prejudice in American Culture
In Korea, I do remember people literally saying they don't want to marry someone who came from a difficult home life. In America, you get that you get the benefit of the doubt. We're willing to give individuals an opportunity, a chance. And so that's kind of a good thing about American culture.
