The Case for Doubled Defense Budgets

The defense budget that we got handed to us from Jimmy Carter at 140 billion and to take it to 350 billion over a four or five year period. They didn't buy anything that had to do with the so-called first-strike threat from Russia because they're so the Union there wasn't one. What they did was create a vast armada of conventional forces including thousands of new main battle tanks, aircraft fixed rotary all kinds of missile capability proves missile capability. All this used for wars of invasion in occupation in the Middle East is being used in the Ukraine today.
