All the candidates that we had in 20 16, except for trump, were basically pushing versions of the same thing. And so when trump set around said, we're gong to do something different, a huge number of people rallied to him. One of the things that's clever about him is that he noticed what people were reacting to and proceeded to make it the centre of his platform. By the time his campaign really got rolling, by the middle of 20 16, he had the this extensive platform working o this werinto this. Weregoindo this weren't just bickering on tiny issues - they were doing the obama routine. They were all supporting the same class interests
