It's such a love hate relationship because to be honest, Instagram is kind of the platform that that made us. We've got a really great community on there. And it's so wonderful to be able to engage with people every day who have these same interests and want to talk about sex positivity and masturbation. But on the other side of it, you're always having to hedge your bets and worry about what you're saying. The thing that I find really conflicting is the fact that we're trying to get rid of the shame and the stigma that surrounds sex. Yet we're having to sense of words like like the word sex,.

In this episode, Hannah is joined by Poppy Lepora, who is the founder of the independent sex toy boutique Self & More and a masturbation enthusiast. Poppy discusses discovering self-pleasure and we talk about lockdown masturbation habits (with data!). She and Hannah talk about the stigma around masturbation if you're in a relationship and really get into the theme of "messy masturbation" - the real, dirty, horny reality of wanking. Finally, Hannah and Poppy discuss what it's like running a sex-positive business using Instagram as a main platform and the difficulties with their sex-negative policies, AND, of course, Poppy gives us a whole bunch of sex toy recommendations.

Poppy Scarlett Lepora is the owner of Self & More sex toy boutique, a pleasure educator and female masturbation activist (aka a proud wanker).
