The Different Types of Narratives
In folklore, myth often gets conflated with untruth. Folk tales are a secular stories that are completely fictional and not regarded as truth. Legends can be set in the recent past or in our current world but they can't really be proven definitively. And then when it comes to fables, those are short tales with an animal character that are its used to teach a moral lesson. It falls within m that very specific set of perimeters.
