Israel has always been a class conflict and a racial conflict among the dominant ethno block. When Mizrahi came here, they were proletarianized, almost immediately. They were turned into a working class that allowed the creation of an Ashkenazi elite middle upper class. But these grievances are class-based grievances and ethnic-based grievances. And that's something that really characterizes Israeli society.
