Differentiating Between Radial Nerve Entrapment and Cervical Spine Pain

If it's a pin, they're not going to have that pins and needles because it's just a motor nerve. They might have some pain down the forearm or some loss of weakness in the thumb. But palpation along the radial nerve, from the snuff box through the supinator, through the spiral group of the heuris, and even up around them, will often be reactive. That's probably one of the key differentiating features. And of course, then your cervical spine range of motion, even spirlings test, and palpation.
