The Role of Voices in Schizophrenia
75% of people with a diagnosis schizophrenia seem to have hearing voices. One idea is that with very, very little, you can say a lot in terms of an impact on somebody. Another argument is that uniquely things like speech, speech processing rely heavily on prior expectations and prior learning for it to work.
