Is There a Shifting Consciousness?

Julian James has an it and these other people haven't, but they're just pointing to the fact that some big shift occurs in this relatively constrained time period. So like, why is it that monotheism starts at the same time as Buddhism? And so I think some version of the Axial Age theory, which is that there is some big shift going on in that period. If there is, there is these system changes as real difference in how the brain functions and how our minds function because of some kind of social element or some kind of threshold that in both places, humanity.
