The First Born of God Is the Jewish People
The unit was kind of a second class citizen in many ways when it came to the people of Israel. The eunuch, while they might have a role amongst the powerful, were not considered powerful and oftentimes looked down on. Here's God who just is revealing that yes, he has chosen the Jewish people. But then he says here in chapter 56, making it absolutely clear that those people who come to the Lord because they recognize his presence among the Jewish people will not be second class.
