The Mysterious Myth of Guns
The official narrative is that the Davidians somehow fired first at the very least, and they were looking to pick a fight with the ATF. Their point was, well, if they were going to do that, it'd be kind of stupid for them to send out 90% of their arsenal right before this big fight happens. One, in fact, for them to even be leaving with the guns to buy and sell them just goes to show that they weren't saving up a quantity for the apocalypse. They were turning around and selling the things that gun shows, again, like tens of thousands of other Texans too.
