Is There Any Harm in Showing the Egyptian Papyrus?
In theory, this is idea that these are records being written on plates, but if nobody else could translate it by Joseph, there's no harm in showing anyone. The fact that you could show the Egyptian papyrus, of course, is because Joseph hands are tied there. He knows those are authentic, but they're not gold plates. And so compounding our way to understand how to evaluate every single letter in the Book of Mormon is a problem for us.
