Is Electrical Cardioversion a Good Option for AFib Patients?

I'm wondering if there are other circumstances where you might be thinking about electrical cardioversion. I think probably in 10, 15 years rhythm control will be first line. Electrical cardioversion is one method of rhythm control for patients with ongoing AF. The other situation we would strongly consider getting them into back to sinus rhythm is AF patients with LV disfunction.
