The song of solomon is a love story between god and his chosen people, israel. In many ways it's an allegory for the jews as well as being erotic love poetry. And so i'm all set to read this book with some really interesting images in mind. We'll get a little more poetic but there will be other things that are going to make us laugh out loud too.
