A lot of work's been done o the paradoxical effect of conscious intentions. So there are a lot of goals that we cannot pursue directly. And one of the things i talk about is why this would be so. If you think about the too system nature of the human mind, it's like trying to dissemble a bicycle while you're riding on itt jusis. It's directly paradoxical. Allof these early chinese thinkers that i look at try to come up with ways to get around what isa paradox.
