The Dangers of Moving CO2 Through Pipelines
When a natural gas pipeline ruptures, the methane dissipates. CO2 will sink and stay close to the ground. It can settle in low-lying areas at dangerous and even lethal concentrations. The first responders were true heroes when they had to use scuba gear because there wasn't enough oxygen for their internal combustion engines.
