Badu's theory of the public has a void structure built into it. In order for me to say I have packed everything, in order for that to be true, I have to have excluded nothing. Nothing wanders errantly through the set of everything and is every bit its condition of possibility. That excluded left behind nothing is not exterior to the totalizing set that claims to contain everything.
