The Importance of Kicking Timing

If you slow your stroke rate down way too much and combine it with a two-beat kick, it can be absolutely disastrous for your stroke. So in my opinion, breathing has to come first. That's the first part within that correction hierarchy. And then I'll be working on body position in the water, which of course includes things such as your legs and what they're doing. We'd then be looking at the way swimming is actually catching and pulling through and pressing back underneath the body. Then start to look at the timing. Is there posture and alignment correct within the water? Is that affecting things like drag? Most swims use a pull buoy and swims slower than everybody else
