Why Is Canada a Prosperous Nation?

India's economy was so badly broken that even if you had okay policies, not great policies, India's economy would have grown at least 10% a year. Take the example of Japan and see how rapidly they were able to emerge out of the ashes and re-industrialize themselves. The process could have been set in motion in 1947 itself. And we lost these so many decades because of these terrible leaders who were not democratically elected by us.
