The Book of Isaiah

I really like that idea that poetry is episodic, just like life encounters are often episodic. And I wonder if that's part of what Isaiah is doing, is reflecting on that episodic reality of experience and then trying to say, okay, how does this hang together because it's been really messy? Right. Exactly. So certainly there are larger connections across the book that do move beyond this, this episodic, but yeah, I think you're exactly right. They preserve the episodic and it's still value-ed.
