Is This a Coup by Pedro Castillo?
Pedro Castillo was in power 16 months. They attempted to remove him three times through a parliamentary figure, which is known as the vacancy,. But this is a very vague constitutional provision and Congress can remove the president if they don't like him. He decided to close down Congress, he made a speech in which he argued that Congress had sabotaged and boycotted his whole presidency. There's been all sorts of allegations of nepotism, of corruption and so on but nothing has been proven.
