The Tax Code Shouldn't Be Designed to Generate Revenue
The tax code should be designed to generate revenue in a way that is economically doing as little damage as possible. I really dislike the last 20 years of, well, best thing we can do as conservatives is cripple the IRS. And if you want to do a different job, give it a different job. If you don't like what it does, change the rules. The tax code should just be a way to raise the revenue that the government needs.
