Winnie Yib is a professor of the practice of global health policy and economics. She's worked on health care reforms across Asia, including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam, and India. Her study was used by Beijing central government to informulating its five-year plan on health. In China, if you're a man, the retirement age is 60; for women working in an office, it's 55. 11 out of China's 31 provincial level jurisdictions are running pension budget deficits. The entire pension system is going to run out of money by 2035.
