The Washington Post fund, which oddly has been our most popular fund this year, buys a bunch of puts on the US stock market and pairs it with government bonds. It looks somewhat like an inverse S&P fund over time, but the bond, the income of the bonds, which is now 2% and going south quickly, covered the cost of buying puts on the stock market.
