If you're living in an affluent country and es very poor people in the world, what do you think listeners of ispotkas should take away from our conversation for their day to day life? How do they avoid being paralyzed by the thoght that no one doing something for others is more costy than doing something for yourself. And in concrete terms, what should they do after this episode is over to go and make an impact on the world? Well, im advice would be, you're probably not a saint. There are very few saints in the world,. So don't struggle to become a saint. I think that's too difficult. It wouldn't be good utilitarian advice to say

Peter Singer, the Ira W. DeCamp Professor of Bioethics at Princeton University, is one of the most influential philosophers of the past fifty years. A leading exponent of utilitarianism, he has often explored how individuals can improve the lot of those in need with their own choices.
