The Politics of Asam

The politics of asam became quite heated around the time of partition. There was a feeling that if we may well lose all of asam to Pakistan if an eastern wing of it was created. Both Indian and Pakistani leaders assume that here minorities are broadly going to stay poor because there's not that much of large-scale violence in Punjab. The original NRC exercise now is effectively water recreating NRC updating it for district ministry.
